Drew said that he had a good week, filled with good work and numbers that reflect their work but that he ran out of time to say much more than that.  As usual, he is a man of few words. :)

"Today was my first time visiting coban. There is a subway there!! I went crazy! I had subway for the first time in 18 months."

This week was a very good week. I started the week off a little sick, but i got better throughout the week. On Wednesday we found a really good family to teach. They were a reference from a investigator and they really had a ton of questions and they were really excited to hear us. I'm really hoping that something can come out of it. At the end of the week we had district conference with the 3 branches in the district. We had 300 people show up. The chapel was packed. We also got a whole family of investigators to go to the conference. We also put up a baptism date with the father of the family. Besides that we didn't have too many things happen.

I know that this work is Gods work. That he is guiding us and the church is growing faster than ever. Elder Simon

Well this week definitely wasn't as productive as I would have liked. We were working hard, but it was just difficult finding our investigators at home. We got to do a companionship exchange with the Zone Leaders. That was fun. But the worst part is that I ended the exchange with a fever and since Saturday night I have been sick. Besides that there isn't really anything else too interesting going on here. I wish I had more to write about.

I just know that this is Gods work and his church and we are blessed for our obedience to his commandments.

This week was a great week. This area has been pretty dead, but we are now lifting it up. I couldn't believe how much we got done in one week. This week we had the privilege of having President Curtiss work with us for a day. I really feel like he helped us a ton and I learned a lot. We got a few new families that we are teaching so it will be exciting to see how it turns out with them. ...Oh man and its super exciting that the Seahawks finally won. But I know I'm not mission anything.

Drew chatted back and forth a little last week but did not send a weekly letter.  Last week he said that the bus ride to his new area was horrible.  He said that his new area is so different than where he was that it feels like he is a different country.  He said that he is super homesick, not for home but for his last area.  He said that saying goodbye to the people of La Libertad was one of the hardest things he has ever done in his life.  He said that it was sad to say goodbye to his family when he left on his mission but this was so much harder because there is a good chance that he will never ever see these people again.  He said that his new companion didn't seem to willing to work hard and he was worried about that.
